The loom. Anna Dyson’s sculptural installation reimagines the loom as both an architectural and conceptual anchor. By merging weaving mechanics with geometries found in nature—such as the growth patterns of plants or the undulations of waves—the space explores the algorithmic essence underlying both nature and computation.
Structured yet fluid, the forms feature a weave stretched along mathematically-driven curves, creating a fabric-like network that shifts with the viewer’s perspective. This blend of precise order and organic flow serves as a visual metaphor for the loom's historical role as a programmable device, merging traditional craftsmanship within a contemporary architectural language that aligns with Another Tomorrow’s ethos.
